BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:20 A.M.) – Another foreign jihadist commander has been assassinated by unknown assailants in northwestern Syria, marking the fourth time in the last ten days that this has happened.
According to opposition activists in the Idlib province, the leader of Kataeb Ansar Al-Tawhid “Abu Bakr Al-Tunisi” was assassinated inside the the Idlib province town of Iblin on Sunday.
The Tunisian national was killed when unknown assailants opened fire on him outside of his home in western Idlib.
No group has claimed responsibility for this latest assassination.
These latest assassinations have recently increased after the conclusion of the Astana peace conference on November 28th.
