Cooperation between the US and Russia can save hundreds of thousands of lives in Syria, US President Donald Trump said at a joint news conference after summit talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“We also discussed at length the crisis in Syria. Cooperation between our countries has the potential to save hundreds of thousands of lives,” the US leader said.

Trump’s statement comes just weeks after the US warned Russia about launching an offensive in Syria’s Daraa province.

However, despite his disagreements with Putin on Syria, Trump has repeatedly stated in the past that he wants to withdraw the US troops as soon as possible.

The Russian President expressed his desire to withdraw his forces from Syria after a surprise visit to the Hmeymim Airport in the Latakia Governorate.

Since Putin’s Syria visit, the Russian military has withdrawn a large number of soldiers and air assets from the country.

Trump es un payaso, fanfarrón sin argumentos, no se puede creer nada, siempre cambia de opinión constantemente.

If Putin was for real he would be demanding a formal apology, war tribunals for McCain & Co, and reparations from USSA to Syria for all the murder and destruction. Bashar already put a price tag on it. And what a cheap insult from both of these talking heads to still be discussing Syrian lives with a body tally as they would cattle.
