BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 A.M.) – U.S. President Donald Trump told the Fox Business Network on Tuesday evening that he is not planning on invading Syria.

“We’re not going into Syria,” Trump asserted in his interview.

Trump stated his reason for attacking Syria was purely to deter the Syrian Government from using chemical weapons.

“But when I see people using horrible, horrible chemical weapons – which they agreed not to use under the Obama administration, but they violated it,” the president said, as quoted by The Hill.

“What I did should have been done with the Obama administration long before I did it. And you would have had a much better — I think Syria would be a lot better off right now than it has been,” Trump added.

Since the attack on the Syrian airbase, the Trump administration has come under harsh criticism from the Kremlin, causing tension between both governments on the international stage.

“Trump stated his reason for attacking Syria was purely to deter the Syrian Government from using chemical weapons. ” => Which is absolutely ridiculous are they are NOT using chemical weapons. ““What I did should have been done with the Obama administration long before I did it. And you would have had a much better — I think Syria would be a lot better off right now than it has been,” Trump added” => Well, just give al-Nusra, Jaysh-al-Islam, Ahrar-al-Sham, Na’al’dine al-Zenki etc etc etc the same treatment Saddam’s army had when they retreated from Kuwait and would have Obongo… Read more »

@ Daeshbag, We disagree on some things but I hope we agree on the totally disfunctional state of US “diplomacy “, narrative and governance in the ‘Exceptional Nation ‘ that has been demonstrated for far too long. Is it the hubris that has afflicted the citizens all Empires ? Is it due to intentional mind manipulation of the American People by ‘Marxist ‘ education programmes ? Is it just a nation of people that largely puts ‘self ‘ before all and this has resulted in a collective loss of any moral compass that sets humans apart from animals ?

Bs, Syria did NOT have chemical weapons. You were defending the same people you claimed that you’d bomb the sh*t out of them. Btw SAA, and ISIS (as well as HTS), are NOT the same thing contrary to what YOU might think.

Obviously when your enemy warns you that he will not do anything to you without you ask him about, its a accurate signal that it is already or that he is to do exactly the opposite of what he has been warned. Then let Syria and their allies tighten their belts and bravely prepare for an imminent increase in the American aggression of Sirius territory. Because it is understandable that if sponsored terrorists fail to achieve their goals in Syria, its time for the sponsors to take on the task. God bless the Syrian people and their allies including Russia,… Read more »
