According to the state-owned “Syrian Arab News Agency” (SANA), the Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAF) reportedly killed the infamous Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group) leader, ‘Abdullah Al-Muhaysani, in rural Idlib on Friday.

Citing a military official, SANA reported that Al-Muhaysani was killed by an airstrike over the Al-Zawiya Mountains in western Idlib; however, no footage was presented to validate the claim.

‘Abudllah Al-Muhaysani is a notorious Al-Qaeda leader that hails from Saudi Arabia.

If the news of his death proves true; this will be Jabhat Al-Nusra’s most prominent casualty during the Syrian War.
