Abu Muhammad Al-Joulani

BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:45 P.M.) – The top leader of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, Abu Mohammad Al-Joulani, told the Amjad Media publication on Monday that his group supports the Turkish military’s operation against the Syrian Kurds.

“We support the operation to liberate the eastern Euphrates,” Al-Joulani told Amjad Media.

According to Al-Joulani, the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), a reference to the YPG and SDF, is an enemy to the Syrian revolution as they are capturing Sunni Arab areas inside Syria.

While Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham is not participating in the Turkish military operation, they have taken a similar stance as Ankara when it comes to the YPG and SDF troops inside Syria.

Furthermore, Al-Joulani claimed that his group is an integral part of the Syrian revolution, adding that he is concerned with implementing the proper form of Sharia Law in the lands.

Once again “proof” of collusion between turkey and jihadi groups. No wnder as Turkey is the sole arms supplier for HTS.

@Karel, they are all the same and the ne-Ottoman Sultanate is the main infestation of the problem. A place where their view already rules and the minions of MB triy to destroy the secular republic founded by Atatürk to save Turkey.

Sharia is the law of pigs.
Al-Joulani deserves his AGM-114 Hellfire as a dïldo.
There is no “Sunni Arab area in Syria” since Syria is NOT an Arab country! Arabs are in Arabia, actually, the majority of Syrians are ethnic Jews (Damascus region was Aram kingdom, a Jewish kingdom created by Aram, the grandson of Noah), then Assyrians.
Al-Joulani again proved himself a perfect idiotic bigot the world will be happy to do without.
The sooner this creep will be blasted, the better…

So his group ousts the Turkish backed FSA from Idlib but still wants to curry favour with Turkey against the Kurds?
More likely as the SAA is about to tackle HTS in Idlib the HTS don’t want Turkey attacking on a separate front. Also, as many Kurds are Christian he would also have a bias against them.

Ahí está una prueba mas del pacto entre Erdogan y Al-qaeda, me sorprende que Putín se deje manipular por el gobierno Turco.
