The Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” were recently deployed to the Aleppo Governorate this week after spending the entire month fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) in the east Homs countryside.

The Tiger Forces reportedly arrived to the Aleppo Governorate on Wednesday morning with a large fleet of armored vehicles that included their elite T-90 tanks.

Similar to their Palmyra and Kuweires Airport offensives, the Tiger Forces utilized these advanced tanks to penetrate through the enemy’s front-lines and advance deep into their territory.

With the upcoming ‘Anadan Plains offensive, the Tiger Forces will need all the help they can get against the jihadist rebels in this region of rural Aleppo.

The ‘Anadan Plains are packed with jihadist rebel fighters that have protected this region of Aleppo for over three years.
