Earlier today, the Syrian Arab Army’s special operations division known as the “Tiger Forces” – in close coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF), Liwaa Suqour Al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade), and Kataebat Al-Ba’ath (Al-Ba’ath Battalions) – imposed full control over 4 villages in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside after a series of violent firefights with the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS).

The Tiger Forces and their allies started the day by capturing the village of Surayb in the Al-Bab Plains, seizing several weapons and supplies that belonged to ISIS while they occupied this area situated directly southwest of ‘Ayn Al-Bayda.

Based on the photos released by the Tiger Forces after they captured Surayb, they confiscated a large cache of automatic rifles and Playboy magazines that were found in one of the terrorist group’s many tunnels in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside.

Following the capture of Surayb, the Syrian Armed Forces pushed further east, imposing full control over the villages of Ajouziyah, ‘Abboudiyah, and Miltafah after another fierce battle with the ISIS terrorists entrenched in this desolate area of the Aleppo Governorate.

As a result of their advance today, the Tiger Forces and their allies have cutoff main roadway that leads to the ISIS stronghold of Al-Bab.
