On Friday afternoon, thousands of civilians poured into the streets of Sanaa to demonstrate against Saudi Arabia’s mass murder of the Yemeni people.
According to Al-Jabhah News, the Yemeni civilians demonstrated at Martyrs’ Square in the capital city, where they chanted multiple slogans against what they consider ‘Saudi-American aggression”.
The demonstration began with a reading from the Quran and then it was followed by several speeches poems about the crimes committed by the Saudi Coalition in Yemen.
One of the main topics discussed on Friday was the recent massacre of 148 Yemeni civilians by the Saudi Air Force in the Hajjah Governorate.
The participants in this demonstration marched with Yemeni flags and pictures of civilians that were killed by the Saudi-led Coalition.
Since March 2015, over 8,000 Yemeni civilians have been killed by the Saudi military and their allies in order to restore the unpopular rule of exiled president ‘Abd Rubbah Mansour Hadi.
