The Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) has laid forth certain conditions for normalising ties with the United States. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas chaired a meeting of the PLO Executive Committee on Saturday. The committee agreed to restore ties with the US if the new administration allows for the PLO office in Washington to resume its work. Other conditions include withdrawing support for Israeli plans to extend its sovereignty over parts of the West Bank and settlement activity and resuming two-state solution discussions. BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 A.M.) – On Saturday evening, the Turkish-backed militants launched several artillery shells and rockets toward the key town of ‘Ain ‘Issa in the Al-Raqqa Governorate, causing a number of explosions that could be heard throughout the area. According to local sources, the Turkish-backed militants repeatedly fired shells and rockets toward the ‘Ain ‘Issa countryside, targeting some of the front-lines villages like Al-Musharifah and Al-Jahbah, which were previously attacked by these forces. BEIRIUT, LEBANON (9:00 A.M.) – A new video shared on social media this past week showed the moment the Armenian forces shot down an Azerbaijani military chopper over the Karabakh region. In the short video, an Azerbaijani Mi-17 helicopter can be seen flying over an undisclosed part of the Karabakh region on an unknown date during the month-long conflict, before it was hit by the Armenian air defenses.
