BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s advance in northwestern Hama on Sunday evening paved the way for the reopening of an important road linking two government strongholds. With the capture of Tal Malah on Sunday, the Syrian Arab Army was able to open the main road linking Mhardeh and Sqaylabiyeh. Russian jets intercept ‘enemy’ targets in Armenia drills

MiG-29 fighter jets from the Russian Southern Military District have intercepted ‘enemy’ targets in military drills on the territory of Armenia, the district’s press service said on Tuesday. “In the framework of bilateral tactical drills at the Kakhmud and Alagyaz training ranges, pilots of MiG-29 fighter jets from the Russian military base in Erebuni stationed in Armenia, have intercepted ‘enemy’ targets in the air,” the press service said. BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) managed to retake the large hilltop of Tal Malah on Sunday evening, ending the militant control over this imperative area in northwestern Hama. The following day, the Syrian Army began combing through the retaken areas, discovering several destroyed vehicles and many dead militants from Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza. As shown in the images below, the jihadist forces lost a great deal of equipment as a result of this battle:
