BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:00 P.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) claimed responsibility for a sabotage attack on a Syrian government oil tanker train in the eastern countryside of the Homs on Sunday. In a statement released by the terrorist group on Monday, ISIS said they attacked the Syrian government oil tanker train between the towns of Al-Fajwah and Al-Busayrah. The Islamic State has been carrying out several attacks against the Syrian government and their armed forces since they lost their last major stronghold in the southern part of the country.

Fully-armed Libyan warplane makes emergency landing in neighboring Tunisia

BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) managed to foil the jihadist attack on the town of Al-Qasabiyah, Sunday, thanks in large part to their air fleet that meticulously picked off the militant forces before the assault. In a new video released by the Anna News Agency, the Tiger Forces air fleet, which mostly consists of attack helicopters and drones, can be seen destroying several vehicles and buildings belonging to the jihadist forces in northern Hama.

Reconciled rebels in southern Syria attack southwestern Damascus town

BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:10 P.M.) – Two nights ago, a mysterious attack was reported at the town of Al-Sa’sa in southwestern Damascus. According to a military source this morning, the reconciled rebels in the Al-Quneitra Governorate fired an artillery shell towards Al-Sa’sa, killing one person and wounding four others. The Syrian military quickly emerged to the scene of the attack to investigate who was behind this artillery strike. Once the investigation was concluded, it was revealed that the militants in southern Al-Quneitra had carried out the abrupt attack. No measures have been taken against the reconciled rebels thus far.
