BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 P..) – The Saudi Coalition allegedly bombed their allied troops in Yemen this afternoon, killing several soldiers in the process. According to the Mareb Press, the Saudi Coalition accidentally bombed the Yemeni National Army’s 1st Brigade at the Hashweh front in the Al-Jawf Governorate. As a result of this bombing, at least seven Yemeni soldiers were killed and more than 25 others were wounded. The Mareb Press said that Thursday’s airstrikes mark the third time this year that the Saudi Coalition has accidentally bombed their allied forces.

Syrian gov’t pardons over 40,000 ex-rebels: report

BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:00 P.M.) – The Syrian government has pardoned over 40,000 ex-rebels since the start of the reconciliation process, the head of Syria’s peace committee Yana Khadour said as reported by Russia Today’s Arabic-language version. According to Khaddour, the ex-rebels were granted amnesty and allowed to return to civilian life if they had completed their compulsory military service. Khaddour said that over 6,000 women that lived under the rebels were also granted amnesty by the Syrian government.
