Bashira Mahmoud

Two Syrians living in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights have been sentenced to prison by an Israeli military court for blocking an ambulance transporting Islamist fighters operating in Syria from being treated in Israel.

Amal Abu Saleh was sentenced to seven years and eight months in jail with a $3,000 fine, whilst Bashira Mahmoud was sentenced to 22 months in prison and fined $1,000 dollars.

According to SANA, Israeli forces arrested the two along with 24 others in June 2015, when residents of the village of Majdal Shams blocked the ambulance and prevented it from transporting two injured terrorists from Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, formerly known as Jabhar al-Nusra.

Amal’s uncle, Sheikh Nazih Abu Saleh, said the court ruling was “hostile” and that it was the right of those in the Golan Heights to block terrorists being treated in Israeli hospitals.

Ahmed Sheikh Abdul Qader, the governor of the city of Quneitra in southwestern Syria, called the ruling “provocative” and spurred on human rights organizations to force the Israeli regime to release Syrians held in its prisons.

    • Hehe, treated for wounds, waking up with one less kidney or lung… If he wakes up… I should tell a buddy that lost a bollock during the Rwanda operation to call the Israelis if he wants to replace it 😉 It seems that the nearest from the border field hospital has a strangely extremely high level of wounded guys passing away and there are persisting rumours about such practices for a while… 😉 I also wouldn’t be too surprised if there was some organs gathering from these idiots…
Strange point : Nusra is listed terror group in the country : they can challenge the judgement more than easily, even accuse the judge of complicity with a terrorist group…

      • BLA BLA bla bladi bla… after your long hasbara “explanation” the other day,you still dont want to accept the fact that israHell is colluding with terrorists ????know that this jailed Syrian patriots wont be able to challenge anything, there is no justice in your beloved ghetto state, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. ISAREL IS A TERRORIST STATE

        • ROFL. Not my beloved, you should re-read!
I see no problems to give medical treatment to enemies. This is simply humane. Now, jailing for 22 months in such case is abusive but they also can appeal the judgement, sorry dude but they have laws and think what you want, they’re the only democracy in the region, all other are authoritarian states. I don’t retain to disapprove their politics when I think it sucks but alright if you don’t like a realistic approach. Now, sincerely, if they wanted Assad out, he’ll be pushing up the daisies for a while : his habits make him an easy target actually. If they wanted, they wouldn’t have had problems to take large swaths of land in south Syria, so why not? I just point that people like you only demonise them exactly like MSM demonise Assad without going further and trying to understand what’s up there. Now, if Israel really wanted to give a serious advantage to these terrorists without intervening, they’d have a very easy way to fuck up SAA efforts : just deploy 1 or 2 Iron Dome/Iron Beam batteries to intercept most of SAA shelling, bombing and missiles. They simply could create the jihadists a 70km security no bomb zone without entering the Syrian territory! Use your logics! 1+1=2.

          • Now I came to confirm you are a google arms expert: do u have a remote idea how much it cost to bring down missiles , not alone shells with the didiculous low efficiency of Iiron dome /beam?? second if they would have done so they support for terrorists it will be OVERTLY and not COVERTLY which is what they are doing now, the same as if israhell ever used nukes? their whole hypocracy would be there for the world to see, then the main strength of israhell, namely double speech and the mastery of deception would be wiped out, Israhell can not exist without deception, this includes Iron Dome and any other dome,it is a deceptive myth as as it was the invincibility of Merkava,
And the myth of the only democracy of the middle east??? you claim to support some kind of green anaachy o so… the more yoy speak about israhell the more you look as embarked in a professional deceit operation

          • IMHO The Israelis treated these militants for humanitarian reasons. Period.

Yes. The Israelis sort of support the militants when they can. Israel shelled SAA when they responded to militants shells fired into Israel.
Idiots. Because Assad’s pseudo democracy is better than what the militants want to create.

The sentences are truly wrong. The defendants used their democratic right to demonstrate. That might have been done in a disorderly manner but sure does not warrant these draconian penalties.
