BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 P.M.) – On Friday morning, thousands of tribesmen from Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon traveled to the town of Ithriya in northeastern Hama to meet with a large Syrian government delegation.

During the meeting, the tribesmen and Syrian government reached a consensus on the upcoming Turkish military operation and their proposed safe zone.

The Arab tribesmen then released a joint statement that rejected the Turkish operation and safe zone.

“The flag of Syria is the banner of the homeland, which symbolizes its sovereignty,” the statement began.

“We strongly oppose the creation of a so-called safe zone in the north of Syria… The Syrian people are brought up on the concept of protecting the independence and sovereignty of their homeland and themselves by all possible means against any kind of aggression, including the occupation of the Syrian territory by the United States and Turkey,” the joint statement read.

The leaders of the clans have agreed that the Syrian nation has the right to decide the country’s political, economic, and social future through dialogue without foreign interference.

“We stand for the unity and independence of Syria and against any project or plan for the division [of the territory] under any excuse,” the statement added.

The tribe system is old and almost the only system for many there, so if Syria is many people, which should try to make solutions, that any time include all. You really seemes not to get it. Assads didnt include all but excluded so many. So those tribers of course also has to join the jigsaw puzzle. This is not about armed borders. We already have them. Its about which border includes all, and which do not. Its also a way to prevent more chaos and random riots and killings. The local borders and the rules insoide them has to… Read more »

Many has paper on Syria is their motherland. But that of course dont count if Assads as feudals are not the Great Mother Leader of Syria all inclusive.

This is about prefaring Turks for Assads only. The ones in Tabqa/Raqqa as well as partly DEZ all are promísed to choose.

You never has heard choose – by voting about it – Of course Syrian has not not apart from Assads are the only alternative to Jihadisme in the whole world.

No level of that seize is verified at all. No dead and wounded are rapported as well.

There could be, but to declare this and that is Your own dreams or nightmares not related to anything from there.

None ever will solve anything in the whole region if to many are like You – ever.

You can blame each other for, which is true. Much is true – and then minus and plus that.
