BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:15 P.M.) – A Syrian man died at a railway crossing in the Tartous Governorate on Tuesday, after a passenger train collided with his motor vehicle.
The Damascus-based Sham FM quoted the railway branch in Tartous, who confirmed the accident and the death of the operator of the motor vehicle.
The driver reportedly drove his pick-up to a railway crossing in the Marqiyah-Shorfah area, which is located between the governorates of Tartous and Latakia, when the collision occurred.
According to local media, the name of the young man was Maurice Zughayer.
