As the Syrian Army appears poised for a large-scale push in Daraa province, the militant groups entrenched in the region reportedly receive a massive shipment of weapons “made in the US.”

The militant groups operating in southern Syria received a large quantity of US-manufactured weapons and munitions, including anti-tank TOW missiles, FARS news agency reports.

According to FARS, the weaponry was delivered via the border with Jordan as part of a new “US plan to provide more backup for terrorists” in Syria.

The news agency also claimed that militant groups in Daraa province began forming “operation rooms” in preparation for the anticipated Syrian army offensive.

Earlier this month, the Syrian Army intensified its activities in the country’s militant-held southwestern reaches that border Jordan and the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
The Russian Defense Ministry added that the Syrian government forces, aided by the Free Syrian Army, which recently sided with Damascus, repelled over a thousand al-Nusra Front* attacks.

Seems very dubious since…
“New message from U.S. Embassy Amman to southern rebels: Make your own decision, but “you should not base your decision on the assumption or expectation of military intervention by us.””
Thus it might be a liquidation?
Nevertheless, TOWs weren’t given by USA : all were purchased by Saudi-Arabia.
These could likely have been supplied to the most lunatic groups, so, instead of looking for a reconciliation, Assad+Putin will totally terminate them…

Idlib comes next…
Mujahedins, prepare your coffins…
And be happy I’m not Assad’s counsellor : you’d end recycled as food for the pigs or impaled while bonded into pork skins…

Not, you are wrong. Jordan, Saudis, Qatar and Turkey are used by Israel-USA-NATO to trabsfer weapons, money , training, and help to terrorists. You youtself have onlined one of the mechanism….USA sell (?) weapons to Saudi or Qatar or JOrdan or Turkey. Then, these weapons appears in terrorists hands. WOW …who can blain USA for this act that depends ONLY on Saudis or others ! ? USA is an hypochritical and lair country. Other method is the following….USA provides weapons to opossition moderated fighter (soft terrorists). Then, as an act of magic (as before) these weapons appear in ISIS-Daesh hands… Read more »

Some of the 1.2 bill worth they just bought on credit from Trump no doubt. Fat good the TOW’s are going to be here though, the SAA have just been bombing them into oblivion and mopping up afterwards, no prolonged or intense street battles here, LOL. King Abdullah and the SFA must have come to some secret agreement with Assad that has allowed this offensive to not only begin in the first place, but to also go so smoothly so far. I’m dreading Idlib and western Aleppo when their time comes though. Here it’s been like shooting fish in a… Read more »
