BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:40 A.M.) – It has been a rough start to the day already for the Islamic State (ISIS) in southern Damascus, as they have been the recipient of nonstop air and ground attacks from the Syrian government forces.
According to a military report from southern Damascus, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) has launched several airstrikes over the Yarmouk Camp and Hajar Al-Aswad this morning, hitting several terrorist targets in the process.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their Palestinian allies have taken the initiative in the Yarmouk Camp, seizing several points from the Islamic State terrorists near the recently liberate Assad bin Furat School in the southwestern part of the district.
Another group from the Syrian Army took to the offensive in northeastern Hajar Al-Aswad by unleashing a flurry of surface-to-surface missiles and artillery shells towards the Islamic State’s positions.
The Syrian military is now attempting to pummel the Islamic State’s last positions in order to secure a surrender agreement from the terrorist group.
