BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:30 P.M.) – The Syrian military has uncovered another large weapons cache that was left behind by the jihadist rebels in the Al-Quneitra province over the Summer.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the military discovered this large weapons cache while combing through the key town of Jibat Al-Khashab.
Citing one of their field reporters, SANA said U.S. and British-made weapons were confiscated by the Syrian military; this includes sniper rifles, TOW missiles, artillery shells, telecommunication devices, and ammunition.
“The reporter indicated that an electrical machine for filling oxygen cylinders was also found, in addition to surgical equipment, full laboratory equipment and operating rooms, and US-made emergency equipment.
Over the last five days, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies from the National Defense Forces (NDF) have uncovered several warehouses stored with weapons in the southern provinces of Daraa and Al-Quneitra.
