BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) The Syrian military seized a large cache of weapons this week that were left behind by the jihadist rebels in Daraa city.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the military uncovered the weapons cache while combing through the abandoned bases of the jihadist rebels in the Daraa Al-Balad District.
Among the weapons seized by the Syrian Arab Army were anti-tank TOW missiles, snipers, a large number of automatic rifles, artillery shells, mortar shells, RPG launchers and medium machine guns.
The Syrian military said the anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) were manufactured in the United States.
