DAMASCUS, SYRIA (9:40 P.M.) – The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that their forces will effectively reduce the amount of airstrikes they conduct over eastern Aleppo.

The purpose of this major reduction by the Syrian Armed Forces is to give civilians the chance to leave the besieged neighborhoods; if the jihadist rebels present in east Aleppo allow them.

In the past, the jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab have prohibited civilians from fleeing eastern Aleppo; however, the Syrian Armed Forces hope that this reduction will change the humanitarian situation.

This reduction is expected to commence immediately, despite the fact that the Syrian Armed Forces are advancing at several axes around eastern Aleppo.
