BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:10 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their Palestinian allies are gearing up for a new offensive in Damascus, despite the looming threat of a U.S. attack on their forces.

Led by their 4th Mechanized Division and Republican Guard, the Syrian Arab Army has begun positioning their troops around the Yarmouk Camp and Al-Qadam districts.

Both of these southern Damascus districts are nearly under the Islamic State’s full control, making them a top priority for the Syrian Arab Army and their Palestinian allies.

The Syrian military has held talks with the Islamic State’s leadership in southern Damascus and even offered to transport them to the Deir Ezzor Governorate; however, the latter has refused.

With ISIS refusing to leave, the Syrian Army will begin this southern Damascus operation in the coming days.

If the Americans launch any strikes whatsoever, take the opportunity to wipe out al-Tanf and al-Zuqf.

It will be a success if the Russians shoot down a few tomahawks, like the last time. Nothing more they can afford.

My thought also. As the Russians said…t*t for tat. If the US attacks, every US base, including Al Tanf and Al-Zuqf should be hit. You know the US realizes what will happen to these forces, therefore they will be sacrificed to enable the US to say that they were attacked, regardless of the truth. I wonder if the men in those bases know they are but dead men walking? They will then escalate the situation as much as possible…the outcome of which is decidedly not decided. Russia will have to soundly thrash the west to show them that their plans… Read more »

That is correct, ship the ISIS to Israel and the USA , they will use them for another job to destroy a nation and kill more humans including children especially from Arabs and Muslim heritage , and they are calling themselves civilized nations.
The west has been very nasty regimes built on Christianity only to kill , colonize and disrupt nations and steal their resources.

Al sur de Damasco, en Yarmouk está ISIS, quiere decir que EE.UU. apoyará a este grupo terrorista.
