BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 A.M.) – The Syrian military unleashed a powerful assault across the Idlib-Hama axis this evening, targeting several areas under the control of the jihadist and Turkish-backed rebels.
Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian military launched several missiles and artillery shells towards the militant-held towns of Al-Hobeit, Kafr Naboudeh, Tramala, Hass, Irmeniya, Manaya, Ma’arat Al-Harmah, Kafr Sijnah, Kafr Zita, Al-Latamnah, Tal Fas, Deir Sinbol, and Al-Sayad.
Video footage of the attack was captured by the Tiger Forces’ official Facebook page; it shows the aftermath of several strikes on the militant-held positions along the Hama-Idlib axis.
Since they lost the town of Kafr Naboudeh, the Syrian Arab Army has carried out nonstop attacks along the Hama-Idlib axis in a bid to weaken the resolve of the jihadist forces in the area.
According to a military source near the front-lines, the Syrian Arab Army is about 2km outside of Kafr Naboudeh and preparing to launch a new assault to retake the town.
However, even if the Syrian Army retakes Kafr Naboudeh, they will not be able to hold the town for long if they do not capture the nearby hilltop of Tal Sakher.
