BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:45 A.M.) – On Tuesday, reports surfaced from pro-opposition monitors that 30 Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers were killed in eastern Homs after the so-called Islamic State (ISIS) ambushed their positions.

Al-Masdar reached out to the Syrian military to corroborate these claims from these pro-opposition monitors.

While the ambush did in fact take place, the Syrian military denied that 30 soldiers were killed in the attack.

According to the Syrian military, 16 soldiers were killed during the ambush, while another 15 were wounded.

The Syrian military added that they later pushed back the encroaching Islamic State terrorists after they made a push near the T-3 Pumping Station.

There is nothing such a God.
But we have to mourn them for their sacrifice as they’ve lost their lives fighting for us.

Who’s funneling ISIS battlefield movements of the SAA in this area? Why is it that ISIS always knows when to strike the weak points? They must be getting intel from somewhere.

The Daesh is routed out of Iraq n Syria and are on the run. They have lost all their major cities and tactically the daesh troops have dispersed and broken down to smaller groups with few technical vehicles and smaller numbers to avoid detection. They are resorting to quick hit and run guerrilla tactics. They are now on the run every where and are not staying put in one place with any fortification as it bogs them down. They are now effectively resorting to ambush, planting IEDs and explosives, suicide car bomb attacks. Militarily they will never be able to… Read more »
