BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 A.M.) – The Syrian military has repeatedly called on Jaysh Al-Islam, today, to give their answer regarding the terms offered by the Russian Reconciliation Center on the town of Douma.

Tuesday was the last day for Jaysh Al-Islam to mull the decision to either accept reconciliation with the government in Douma or depart from the town.

The Syrian Arab Army has already moved several units towards the Douma front-lines in anticipation for the long-awaited battle against the Jaysh Al-Islam militants.

More details to come…..

Jaysh Al-Islam is a Saudi-backed militant group that does not possess a large presence outside of Damascus like the other groups in the East Ghouta.
