BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:00 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has begun a heavy assault on the town of Hamamiyat in northwestern Hama.

According to a military source in Hama city, the Syrian Army is hammering the jihadist positions at Hamamiyat as they prepare to storm this town in the next few hours.

The source added that the Syrian Arab Army has moved in reinforcements to this area as they look to reverse all of the jihadist gains in northwestern Hama.

On Wednesday, the jihadist rebels, backed by Jaysh Al-Izza, launched a big assault in northwestern Hama from five axes.

The jihadist attack would prove successful as they were able to crack the Syrian Arab Army’s lines and impose full control over Hamamiyat.

In regards to the town of Kernaz, a source in the town told Al-Masdar that they still hold it, despite a claim from a soldier in nearby Sqaylabiyeh.

Parece que últimamente los terroristas están tomando la iniciativa, mucha vacilación los ataques aéreos deben ser mas efectivos o en todo caso usar bombas de mayor poder destructivo.

I don’t understand why the SAA keep losing these big towns or villages…then have to lose more men taken them back…they need a better plan to kill these jihadi groups…they should have great defence’s put up until there going to move forward… plus when they do move forward they should use force’s from other parts of the army until they have taken the bit of land they where trying to take….they have lost tanks lately that is bad management from the army.. come come guys get more professional…
