BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:30 P.M.) – The elite Syrian Marines are preparing to launch their long-awaited Idlib Governorate offensive after spending several months in nearby Latakia.

Backed by the Tiger Forces and Republican Guard, the Syrian Marines will begin their offensive from the northeastern Hama axis and push towards the strategic Abu Dhuhour Military Airport.

The Abu Dhuhour Military Airport was seized by Al-Qaeda linked Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorists in September of 2015 after a three year long siege.

Since capturing the Abu Dhuhour Airport, the Al-Qaeda linked terrorists have turned the military installation into one of their largest bases in northern Syria.

The Syrian Armed Forces will rely heavily on Russian air assistance as they attempt to enter Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s heartland.

La ofensiva debería de empezar desde el norte con frontera con Turquía y así cortar el ingreso de suministros para los terroristas.
