BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:25 A.M.) – The Syrian Air Force conducted at least a half dozen raids over the Qalamoun Mountains this morning, targeting the Al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions in Jaroud Faleeta.

Syrian jets pounded Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions, while the Lebanese Army and Hezbollah shelled the latter in the Qalamoun Mountains this morning.

In addition to shelling, the Lebanese Army has announced that the border-crossing in the city of ‘Arsal has been closed; they did not cite a reason for the closure.

The Lebanese Army and Hezbollah are expected to kick-off an offensive in Jaroud ‘Arsal in the coming days, as they look to expel the last terrorists from this area.
