BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:45 A.M.) – A large number of Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Iranian-backed reinforcements reached the western countryside of the Deir Ezzor Governorate on Saturday night, a military source in Damascus told Al-Masdar News.

According to the source, the reinforcements were sent from all over Syria to aid in the upcoming offensive against the Islamic State (ISIS) in the Badiya Al-Sham region.

This latest batch of reinforcements from the Syrian Arab Army and Iranian-backed forces to the Badiya Al-Sham region is the second group of pro-government troops to head to this front in the last 24 hours.

With the Islamic State’s latest attacks in Badiya Al-Sham, the Syrian military and their allies are attempting to expedite their reinforcements to this region in a bid to eliminate this terrorist group from this part of the country.

Willing Conscience

Looks like this is taking precedence over Darra now and which is good. If they can get rid of this group quickly, it will leave the 2 pockets of Isis in US controlled territory as the only substantial Isis forces left at all in Syria, though the Hajin Isis pocket is about to collapse [should have collapsed 3 weeks ago]. That’s a real good look for the mighty US and their Kurdish bedfellows, Putin and Assad first around the post again and the US playing catch up.
