BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:40 A.M.) – Major General Issam Zahreddine recorded a voice note on Monday to clarify a statement he made on a video late last week in regards to Syrian refugees.

The prominent Syrian general was accused by western and pro-opposition publications of threatening to kill any refugee that returned to Syria.

However, General Zahreddine clarified his stance on Monday, stressing that he meant all those who took up arms against the army are not welcome back to Syria.

The Syrian general is currently deployed in the Deir Ezzor Governorate, where he is leading his elite 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard against the so-called Islamic State.

His stance seems fair to me. Why would any nation want those who have taken up arms against their nation to return ? Especially when there has been acts of medieval barbarity committed by them.

Let them find new homes in Europe and the US instead amongst their friends.

Everybody just a bit familiar with Issam Zahreddine knows he loves his country and is an patriote by all means! He would never harm any Syrian loyal to the country!
It looks very different when it comes to enemies of his beloved Syria. Better not to be on the “wrong” side according to his understanding.
So.. if I would be a pawn of the NATO-crime syndicate alike the so called “Kurdish forces” I would start to think twice to get in a fight with the SAA, because the SAA will rip you apart!

The Syruan government forces should not think about refugees right now but on liberating all of the Syrian states territories. Unfortunately not mentioned here is the rapid invasion of Eastern Deir Ezzur by the colonial US/Zionist forces who now have also invaded and occupied the military airport on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river. The Syrian government forces need to urgently cross the Euphrates river NOW and stop them before they invade and permanently steal all of the most vital, resource rich areas of Deir Ezzur. The so called SDF aka ISIS rebranded, have already stated that tbey would… Read more »
