BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:35 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s High Command has named a new leader of their Republican Guard’s 105th Brigade as they prepare to restart operations in the eastern suburbs of Damascus.

According to a military communique, the Syrian Army’s High Command has named Brigadier General Mohammad Nayouf the new leader of the 105th Brigade.

General Nayouf is a veteran army commander that has served in the Republican Guard for several years, including the entire duration of this war.

The general’s first test in east Damascus will be the current operation to beat back Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and Faylaq Al-Rahman at the Harasta axis.

A wise choice to bring in a fresh leader when a crucial test is about to begin. This area has been stalemated too long. Once the Green Daesh begin to break Nayouf will be at their heels like the Hound of Hades!!!
