Hundreds of displaced Syrian families returned to their villages on Wednesday after the second phase of the ceasefire agreement was implemented by the government and rebel forces in the Hama Governorate.
According to a Syrian military source, several displaced families from the villages of Al-Bayrat, Al-Haweejah, Qasr Al-Mukhram, and Junaynat returned to their homes on Wednesday morning.
Part of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, the Syrian government must help rebuild these aforementioned villages, while the rebels will have to turn in their heavy weaponry in order to enforce the guidelines that were originally agreed upon.
Despite a few setbacks, the ceasefire agreement has been relatively successful, given the fact that some deserted areas are finally being repopulated and fixed.
