BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:45 P.M.) – A Syrian boy risked his own life to rescue a dog that was trapped in an irrigation ditch in rural Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Association for Rescuing Animals (SARA) reported.

The boy, who is not identified, found a dog that was trapped in an irrigation ditch inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate town of Al-Shahil.

After jumping into the water, the boy and a friend tie a rope around the dog to help lift the animal out of the water.

This rescue would prove successful as the boy and his friend were able to carry the dog out of the irrigation ditch and to dry land.

  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
