Representing the Syrian Arab Army at the International Military Games is the 3rd Armored Division, who is one of the SAA’s most experienced tank groups.
The selected 3rd Armored Division of the Syrian Arab Army specialized in urban warfare and participated in many battles against the rebel and jihadist forces in the past five years.
The first competition they took part in was the tank biathlon, which is a mechanised military sport event promoted by the Russian military.
It utilizes the complex training of tank crews including their rough terrain passing skills combined with the ability to provide accurate and rapid fire while performing maneuvers.
