BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:45 P.M.) – One of the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) elite units has received orders to redeploy from the Daraa Governorate to Al-Sweida this week.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Arab Army’s elite 42nd Brigade (Ghiath Forces) of the 4th Armored Division has left the Daraa Governorate for the Badiya Al-Sham region of Al-Sweida.

The 42nd Brigade has been reportedly tasked by the Syrian Arab Army’s High Command to lead the final battle against the Islamic State (ISIS) in northeast Al-Sweida.

The military source added that the 42nd Brigade will likely start their offensive in the Badiya Al-Sham region in the coming days.

Previously, the Syrian Arab Army attempted to contain the Islamic State in the Badiya Al-Sham region; however, this would later backfire, as the group carried out a deadly terrorist attack that killed more than 250 people.

Due to the Badiya Al-Sham’s proximity to Sweida city, the Syrian Arab Army has decided to eliminate this large Islamic State pocket before moving their forces north to the Al-Ghaab Plain and Latakia Governorate.

Great decision. The murder of the civilians showed that IS must die before all else.

It’s even why Soleimani hired Zarqawi to create ISIS : to be the ones everybody would love to demolish!

Daeshbag, are you talking about the same Zarqawi who was detained in Iraq by US army, then imprisoned in South Iraq for a couple of years, then moved for about 10 months in Guantanamo, then released with over $2 million for “pain and suffering” and THEN ZARQAWI CREATED ISIS?!? Stop spreading nonsense and get your facts straight, please!!!

Excelente primero acabar con ISIS en la región y luego marchar a frontera Turca, empezando por Latakia hasta Alepo.
