DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:50 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAYF) pounded the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus on Wednesday night, targeting several farms located between Al-Reyhan and Tal Kurdi.

According to an Al-Masdar correspondent, the Syrian Air Force rained heavy bombs over Jaysh Al-Islam’s (Army of Islam) positions, paving the way for the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard to attack the latter’s defenses near Al-Reyhan.

The Al-Masdar correspondent added that the Syrian Armed Forces are only 750 meters away from Al-Reyhan’s gates, which is cause for great concern for Jaysh Al-Islam, as they find themselves encircled by the government units.

Jaysh Al-Islam needs to foil this upcoming assault by the Syrian Armed Forces; if they don’t, Tal Kurdi will be completely surrounded and most likely to fall to the government in a short period of time.
