BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:15 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) unleashed a powerful assault against the terrorists of the Islamic State (ISIS) this week, targeting the latter’s positions in the Al-Safa region.

Led by their 4th Division, the Syrian Arab Army fired a large number of missiles and artillery shells towards the Islamic State’s hideouts and trenches in Al-Safa, while their allies from the Russian Aerospace Forces repeatedly bombed the terrorists from the air.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Russian military and Islamic State agreed to a ceasefire earlier this week in an effort to free the hostages currently being held by the terrorist group in an unknown location.

However, the deal would later collapse after the Islamic State attempted to advance their positions in the Al-Safa region.

Since then, the Syrian Arab Army has been pounding the remaining Islamic State fighters in the area, while also pushing further up the steep cliffs of the Al-Safa region.

As shown in the video below, the Syrian Arab Army has been repeatedly pounding the Islamic State’s positions in the Al-Safa region:

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
