BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:10 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) unleashed a massive assault across the Idlib Governorate this afternoon following the jihadist rocket strikes on the government stronghold of Masyaf.
Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army fired a large barrage of surface-to-surface missiles towards the jihadist-held towns of Nayrab, Saraqib, Kafr Nabl, Khuwayn, Ma’arat Al-Nu’man, kafr Brouma, and Ma’arat Harme in the Idlib Governorate.
According to a military source near the front-lines in northwestern Syria, the Syrian Arab Army conducted this missile attack in response to the jihadist strikes on Masyaf.
Earlier today, the jihadist rebels fired several rockets at the town of Masyaf, killing at least five civilians and wounding another sixteen others.
