BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has taken control of another town located along the border of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights this week.
Units from the Syrian Arab Army announced their control over the town of Al-Qahtaniyah this week after the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham withdrew from the area.
Al-Qahtaniyah was captured by the jihadist rebels during their 2014 offensive that also led to the seizure of most of the Al-Quneitra Governorate.
As shown in the video below, the Syrian Arab Army has entered the town and is now in full control of the area:
The jihadist rebels had abandoned Al-Qahtaniyah after they withdrew from the provincial capital of the Al-Quneitra Governorate.
