BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their attacks along the Idlib-Hama axis, today, after a fierce firefight near the demilitarized zone last night.
Led by their 4th Armored Division, the Syrian Arab Army launched several surface-to-surface missiles and artillery shells towards the militant trenches that are located along the Idlib-Hama axis.
The Syrian Army reportedly targeted the trenches that were raised by the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham at the towns of Al-Taman’ah, Sukeek, and Khuwayn.
In response to the Syrian Arab Army’s attack, the jihadist rebels launched a barrage of artillery shells towards the government positions south of Khuwayn and Al-Taman’ah.
These skirmishes between the Syrian Arab Army and rebel force have become more common over the last month as the Sochi agreement from September 17th continues to fall apart.
