BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:10 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their military campaign in northwestern Syria on Monday, targeting several areas controlled by the Turkish-backed rebels in northern Hama.
According to a military report from northern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army targeted a number of dens and trenches located near the town of Al-Janabah.
The Syrian Arab Army’s attack would then spread to the checkpoint near Massasneh; this would result in a fierce exchange between the military and Jaysh Al-Izza.
Jaysh Al-Izza responded to these attacks by firing a number of artillery shells towards the Syrian Arab Army’s positions north of Mhardeh.
Another attack was reported by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) near the town of Al-Habbit, which is located inside the designated buffer zone in northern Hama.
