BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:35 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their offensive operations in the Dara’a Governorate, Thursday, striking the jihadist rebels in the eastern part of the provincial capital.

Led by their elite 42nd Brigade (Al-Ghiath Forces) of the 4th Mechanized Division, the Syrian Arab Army stormed the Dara’a Camp in a new bid to fully capture this district.

According to Al-Masdar’s field correspondent, Ibrahim Joudeh, the Syrian Arab Army managed to capture more than 50 percent of the Dara’a Camp, while continuously targeting the jihadist defenses in the Al-Manishiyah and Dara’a Al-Balad districts.

At least ten jihadist rebels were killed, Thursday, including a TOW operator, Joudeh reported.

Joudeh added that once the Dara’a Camp is captured, the Syrian Arab Army will move towards the Tariq Al-Sad District in order to cutoff the jihadist defenses to Al-Manishiyah.
