BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:35 P.M.) – The official Facebook page of the Tiger Forces released a new video showing a Syrian Arab Army spy touring a jihadist stronghold in the Idlib Governorate.

The video published by the Tiger Forces shows a Syrian Army spy touring the Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham stronghold of Tal Adeh, which is in the northern part of the Idlib province.

As shown in the video below, the Syrian Army spy is operating freely in this jihadist-held stronghold, despite an ongoing security operation by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham to identify these government operatives:

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham has already arrested more than 30 people suspected of wanting reconciliation with the government; however, the Syrian military continues to release these videos to show that they are operating across the jihadist-held territories.

The Syrian Arab Army is planning to launch a major offensive in the Idlib Governorate in the coming weeks; this operation will target the southern part of the province and the strategic city of Jisr Al-Shughour.

Not sure if it’s a great idea to show there is spying activity in some area.
For sure, it increases paranoia, but this also increases readiness and the search of spies.
It may look nice and provocative but I consider it better to fall on unsuspecting roaches who feel they are secure while they aren’t rather to face paranoid ones think there’s something coming. It also increases the risk for spies to be caught then no more supplying intelligence.
