BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) sent a large number of reinforcements to the Idlib-Hama axis on Tuesday, a source from the military told Al-Masdar News.
According to the source, the Syrian Army sent the reinforcements to the front-lines in the northwestern Hama, with a large concentration of the soldiers deployed to Tal Malah front.
The source added that the Syrian Arab Army and their allies from the National Defense Forces (NDF) are preparing to make another attempt to recapture the key hilltop of Tal Malah from the jihadist rebels.
Tal Malah was captured by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza last week when they carried out a surprise offensive at this axis in the Hama Governorate.
At the same time, the Syrian military is heavily targeting the militant-held areas in northwestern Hama and southwestern Idlib this afternoon.
The Syrian Army has reportedly struck the militant-held towns of Khan Sheikoun, Al-Latamnah, Kafr Zita, Zakat, Tremla, and Al-Hobeit in this region of northwestern Syria.
