BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:40 P.M.) – The Syrian military seized a large cache of weapons in the Daraa, Damascus, and Homs governorates this weekend.

According to reports from the capital, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) seized a wide variety of ammunition, medium and light weapons, missiles, including US-made TOW missiles, and telecommunication devices left behind by militants in Damascus, Daraa, and Homs.

Citing a field source, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the weapons and ammunition were found hidden in underground storages.

The SANA field source confirmed that US-made TOW missiles, US-made rifles, machine guns (including Doshkas, PKC, PKT machine guns), and over 100,000 machine-gun rounds were seized by the Syrian military.

The source added some RPGs, mortar shells of 80mm 60mm and 120mm, telecommunication devices, thermal goggles, and four-wheel-drive vehicles were found among the weapons cache.

This is evidence of nothing! By your bogus-reasoning, Doshkas, PKC, PKT, RPG and nt even speaking about diverse Kalashnikov versions would mean that Russia is together with them and you’re likely to have cheap Chinese copies with too!

Let’s be more serious.
In 2014, Saudi Arabia bought 15,000 TOW missiles and according to the $1.1bln value of the contract, also around 750 launchers from Raytheon.
Guess what happened to these…

Saudis started to interfere after rival Iran got implied, this, being a game changer, clearly escalated the war and triggered Russian intervention…

US-made riffles? C’mon, M-16 and M-4 had millions units produced, incl. under license in other countries. Even Norinco (China) sells copies and don’t assume none are marked ‘Made in USA’ with Colt logos etc! Many countries use M-16, starting by Jordan!

Moreover, civilian AR-15 are very common.
Now you’re totally unlikely to get these weapons from Israel since the only things they get from Yanks are… aircraft since they build their own ATGMs (Spike) or riffle (Tavor, Galil), SMGs (Uzi-family) or pistols (Jericho, Desert-Eagle…).
You may find old M-16 and even M-1carbine in Israel but these will be seen on private security guards, tour-guides, school-teachers and eventually reservists or at training recruits. Their remaining M-16 are early Vietnam-era worn-out cräp that was deemed unreliable in those days. Probably the last riffle you’d want to take to war with you!

In fact, this mess in Syria wasn’t even started by the Yanks and tax payers paid zero $ for this! It’s even absolutely illegal under US laws!

What you had? Qatar did a big check to the Clinton foundation and paid crooked politicians, so they had political support and CIA taking care of logistics, training and providing intelligence.
In fact, their operatives even often deliberately sabotaged the training, not wanting to create another generation of efficient jihadists…
IMHO, the leaks that torpedoed Killary’s election came from US own intelligence community, not from the alleged Russian interference. Just think about it : it’s obvious that US DoD deliberately torpedoed John Kerry-brokered ceasefire in Aleppo : this would have broken SAA momentum at retaking the city 😉

As you see, things are not that simple with the Yanks!
e.g. on of the CIA-recommanded books explains why USA should seriously reduce their numbers (800+) of overseas bases (!) and act as a republic instead as an empire (!)

Now, when it comes to geopolitics, maybe should you also investigate the actions of China, Russia, Qatar, Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, UK, KSA, France and even much less known actors like South-Africa, Brazil, Spain, UAE, Egypt, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, etc etc etc! I predict you very serious surprises! Look at what China is doing in Sudan or Gabon, you’ll puke! Indonesia? Oh, 500k dead in East-Timor and as much in West-Papua. Nice land thefts, isn’t it? West-Papua has the biggest gold mine on Earth 😉 Indonesians are shooting all Papus that criticize their invasion. Australia is funding/backing separatists in New Caledonia… Read more »

US and Israel are not the only countries suppling Jihadists but the above guy is absolutely right as the are the main Drivers on the war against Syria. Two biggest regional are Turks and Israelis as we see them stirring up trouble as I write. Both just will not stop attacking Syria and they have weak, lame excuses to justify their dastardly deeds. As I have said many times before, Israel and Turkey are two wings of the same bird, The vulture.

Now, do you really think Gaddafi or Saddam were angels? Have you some idea about Gaddafi’s invasion on Chad? Ever heard about UTA flight 772? And if the Pan-Am flight 103 was long-time charged on Gaddafi, it actually was PFLP-GC, so some nice Palestinians living in Syria and in close contact with Syrian Mukhabarat… Now did anyone forced Saddam to invade Iran, Kuwait, KSA or to gas the Kurds? Not at all! This idiot was snorting like a vacuum cleaner and had imperialistic ambitions too, these ended killing 1-2 millions people. And he was more seen as a Soviet-puppet although… Read more »

So you know, US are doing lotsa bad things for sure but… You actually know about because they’re a democracy with huge freedom of expression but… If you think other actors implied in anything geopolitics are better, you’re totally deluded!
In geopolitics, there are NO GOOD GUYS, some are just worst, some are far worst and they may not be those you think about!

The only democracy in the Middle East, a shining light to all nations, as Benny touts. The world gets darker by the day. Good is called Evil and Evil is called Good.
