BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) burst through the Islamic State’s (ISIS) front-lines in southeast Homs today, liberating large chunks of territory near the T-4 Military Airport.
Led by the 1st Armored Division, the Syrian Arab Army managed to liberate the gas wells at Al-Ba’ir Al-Mar after a short battle with the Islamic State terrorists protecting the area.
As a result of today’s gains, the Syrian Arab Army has cleared much of the territory around the ancient city of Quraytayn; this has forced the Islamic State terrorists to quickly retreat south towards the Iraqi border.
Meanwhile, east of the T-4 Airport, the Syrian Arab Army continued their cleansing operations around the T-4 Pumping Station; they managed to kill several militants, while also seizing a large cache of weapons used by the terrorist group.
