BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:40 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has uncovered another large stockpile of western-made weapons left behind by the rebels in the Daraa Governorate.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense released footage on Wednesday that showed a large quantity of weapons that were left behind by the rebels in the eastern countryside of the Daraa Governorate.
As shown in the video below, the rebels left a large quantity of artillery field guns, machine guns, various ATGMs (including US-made TOW missiles), mortar launchers, RPGs, tank shells, artillery shells, armored vehicles, and thousands of ammunition boxes.
This latest weapons cache is one of the largest that the Syrian Army has come across since they launched their military operations inside southwest Syria.
Once the Syrian Army begins moving further west towards the Al-Quneitra Governorate border, the government forces will likely come across larger stockpiles.
