DAMASCUS, SYRIA (11:35 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their offensive operations in the southwestern sector of Aleppo on Monday, targeting Tal Rakhem and the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project that are under Jaysh Al-Fateh (Arm of Conquest) control.

Led by their elite Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army stormed Tal Rakhem the eastern perimeter of Tal Rakhem this morning, where they were confronted by a large and well-armed contingent of jihadist rebels.

Despite reports of its capture by the Syrian Armed Forces today, Tal Rakhem still remains under Jaysh Al-Fateh’s control.

According to a military source from the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army managed to break-through Jaysh Al-Fateh’s first-line of defense; however, they still do not possess full-control over this large hilltop.

Meanwhile, at the 1070 Housing Project, the Syrian Arab Army and Jaysh Al-Fateh are deadlocked in a fierce battle at the northern sector of this small district – no gains reported.
