BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:50 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their counter-offensive in Jobar this morning after suffering some setbacks inside the eastern suburbs of Damascus on Tuesday.

Led by their 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard, the Syrian Arab Army stormed the the northern sector of Jobar, where they were confronted by a large force comprised of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham battalions.

According to local journalists embedded with the Syrian Arab Army, the 105th Brigade is in the process of attacking the Fabric Factory that was captured by the jihadist rebels during the first part of yesterday’s assault.

If the Syrian Arab Army can retake the Fabric Factory and its surrounding sites, they will be able to fully reverse the jihadist gains made yesterday.
