DAMASCUS, SYRIA (11:40 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their large-scale offensive in the southern sector of Aleppo this morning after launching another attack inside the Sheikh Sa’eed District.

Led by the 800th Regiment of the Republican Guard and Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army heavily shelled Jaysh Al-Fateh’s (Army of Conquest) defenses in preparation for their second attempt at seizing Sheikh Sa’eed in the last 48 hours.

Not long after shelling Jaysh Al-Fateh’s defenses, the Syrian Arab Army stormed the western sector of Sheikh Sa’eed, resulting in a fierce battle with the jihadist rebels that is still ongoing at the moment.

In addition to their assault at Sheikh Sa’eed, the Syrian Arab Army is also pounding the nearby Aqrab area with several artillery shells and missiles, as they prepare to launch another attack at Souq Al-Jabas.

These latest attacks by the Syrian Arab Army in the southern Aleppo sector is geared towards breaking the jihadist resolve around Sheikh Sa’eed, Khan Touman, Rashiddeen 5 (near the Al-Assad Suburb), and Rashiddeen 4.
