Aleppo, Syria (7:15 A.M.) – A large number of reinforcements from the Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard in Damascus arrived to the Aleppo Governorate on Thursday morning, ahead of their next offensive in the southern sector of the provincial capital.

These Republican Guard reinforcements are expected to help their comrades recapture the Aleppo Artillery Academy and 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project in southern Aleppo.

According to local sources in Aleppo City, the Syrian Armed Forces are expected to make another push to recapture the Aleppo Artillery Academy in the next 72 hours; this would be their second major attempt seize this imperative military installation near Al-Ramouseh.

While the Syrian Armed Forcs prepare for their ground assault, the Russian Air Force has already begun their nonstop airstrikes over the southern Aleppo districts, targeting several sites with a Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) presence.

Reinforcement and Reinforcement and Reinforcement.
From Damascus himself!
How long needed the Terrorist to capture the Housing Project and the Artillery Academy – without an own Air Force?

P.S. Why did the RuAF not flatten the Area with their Long Range TU22M?
Why do the Strategic Bombers bomb in Palmyra an everywhere but not in SW Aleppo?

How incompetent can the SAA be that they cannot conduct an offensive against terrorists with no air force, no effective AA and isolated in a largely surrounded area.

They are outnumbered and outmatched by foreign mercenaries? They need the elite forces to make any move at all?

And this army was supposed to stand up to the Israelis? They can’t even beat criminal gangs on their own turf…

Take the effing gloves off and fight to win for crying out loud, must Putin do everything?

it is becming clear that only Western (US, Russian, European) ground forces can win this.

At least one Russian division is required to finish this war, that much is becoming crystal clear.

The locals can act as auxilliary, but they cannot do the heavy lifting in any effective way whatsoever. If it wasn’t for Putin’s air strikes, the government would have fallen by now. Putin needs to take the final step and finish this war – do it, and do it quickly, then get out.

Some of the comments are really poorly put in blissful ignorance? 1. Terrorists poured in 7000 fresh troops 2 weeks ago armed to the teeth making a total of about 37,000 terrorists in well defended positions, tunnels etc. The SAA and Hezbollah and militias number 20,000 these actions are about wearing down the other side. If an attack heavily outnumbers the defensive they pull back and bombard probe in weak spots causing movement of troops. As Damascus clears more of the city as its just done they then send the surplus to Aleppo. That’s roughly it? its not about making… Read more »
